Alex Collins’ eight-yard touchdown run: Although it was a forgetful game overall for running back Alex Collins, he got the Ravens on the board early with this impressive touchdown run. Collins fought hard to reach the end zone and showed both muscle and determination to get across the goal line. John Brown’sseven-yard touchdown reception: Brown’s big regular season debut as a Raven continued late in the first quarter when he got open in the back of the end zone and secured a touchdown pass from Joe Flacco. The play put the Ravens up two possessions heading into the second quarter. Tony Jefferson’s interception: On a 3rd & 8 in the second quarter, a Nathan Peterman pass sailed over the head of intended receiver Kelvin Benjamin and into the arms of Tony Jefferson. Jefferson was in the right place at the right time, and it set up a Justin Tucker field goal to put the Ravens up 20-0. Michael Crabtree’s 12-yard touchdown reception: Crabtree made up for his poor start to the game with an impressive, acrobatic touchdown reception just before halftime. Crabtree somehow managed to get both feet in bounds in the corner of the end zone. It was his third catch of the game, all of which came on the same drive. The Chargers last won two games during a single postseason in 2007, when the franchise was in San Diego.Of course, going deep in the playoffs are old hat for the Patriots.“Yeah, I mean, gosh, we know the run they’ve had,” Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers said. “It seems like forever. They’re always in these games and games beyond.”Rivers went 22 for 32 for 160 yards for Los Angeles, providing just enough offense to help the Chargers get even for a 22-10 loss to Baltimore (10-7) just two weeks ago.Badgley set a franchise record for field goals in a playoff game.
