Pardon us Cheap Vonn Bell Jersey , but there's no deflating the focus whenever Andrew Luck and the Colts head to Gillette Stadium.Like everyone else, Pro Picks would be leaving its readers flat if it didn't mention the saga of footballs without enough air that penetrated the AFC championship game in the 2014 season when New England hosted Indianapolis. It would also be shirking our responsibility to ignore the fact that, like four years ago, this is pretty much a mismatch. He appeared in 10 games in his rookie season, starting one, and was credited with one pass breakup and a fumble recovery. Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY SportsHarris emerged from the 2017 preseason as one of the starters at cornerback entering the regular season. After New Orleans surrendered a combined 793 yards passing and six touchdowns in their first two games, Harris was benched and subsequently released. Although the team would re-sign him, it was mostly for special teams duty. The 25-yr. old Harris would ultimately appear in 11 games last season, mostly on special teams, and was credited with 2 passes defensed. He was brought back this offseason to compete for a spot in a young and talented New Orleans defensive backfield. He logged 11 snaps in the Saints preseason opening victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, per John Hendrix of the Canal Street Chronicles. Harris' struggles in coverage continued, however, and was flagged for two holding penalties that kept Jacksonville drives alive. https://www.canalstreetchronicles.com/20...an-paytonHarris' release further opens up possibilities for the other young cornerbacks in Saints camp. The top three spots seem set, with Marshon Lattimore Terron Armstead Jersey , Ken Crawley, and Patrick Robinson, but 2-3 remaining spots are up for grabs among P.J. The Advocate’s Nick Underhill confirmed the early Monday morning report, stating that their rookie defensive end will have surgery after minicamp.Per the column, the injury is said to not be significant, and Davenport should be ready by the time training camp rolls around. Obviously, you don’t want to have your top pick you shelled out two first rounders for get hurt at any capacity, but it’s just part of the game.On paper http://www.authenticsneworleanssaints.com/cheap-ken-crawley-jersey , the Saints do have more depth at edge that they’ve had in recent memory, which is something that hurt them down the line in the playoffs last season. However, they are still pretty banged up. Cameron Jordan had foot surgery during the offseason and is still recovering. Maybe Panthers coach Ron Rivera should allow his special teams to run out of the tunnel more often for pre-game introductions.Graham Gano connected on all four field goal attempts http://www.authenticsneworleanssaints.com/cheap-wil-lutz-jersey , including a career-long 63-yarder with 1 second remaining, and Carolina recovered a muffed punt in the end zone for a touchdown to beat the New York Giants 33-31 in a wild game Sunday."Piece of cake," Rivera joked after Gano's winning field goal, which tied for the second longest in NFL history.Gano's winning kick came after the Giants erased an 11-point fourth quarter deficit. Eli Manning hooked up with Saquon Barkley on a 15-yard touchdown pass down the right sideline 鈥?the rookie made a long dive into the end zone 鈥?to put the Giants in front 31-30 with 1:08 remaining.Gano's previous career long was 59 yards. He's now made 35 in a row at home dating back to 2016.He said running out of the smoky tunnel before the game for the first time in his career was "pretty special" and made him feel like Cam Newton. But the winning kick was even better. After he converted the kick he said his main goal was seeking safety from the rest of his teammates running after him."I just tried to hit a good ball and the rest was craziness and madness," Gano said. "I'm so excited for our guys."It's the second year in a row the Giants (1-4) have been beaten by a monster field goal at the end. In the third game last season, Jake Elliott of the Eagles kicked a 61-yarder for a 27-24 win.Newton threw for 237 yards and had two touchdowns and two interceptions and helped get the Panthers (3-1) into field goal range with a 20-yard completion to D.J. Moore and a 9-yarder to Christian McCaffrey on the final drive.Newton called it a "subpar" game on his part, but was thrilled Gano helped bail him out."A wise man told me once that a great quarterback is only as good as his kicker," Newton said. "Graham put the whole team on his back today. ... well, on his toe today."Manning finished 22 of 36 for 326 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, both by Panthers 37-year-old safety Mike Adams.Odell Beckham Jr., had a big game as a receiver and passer. Beckham had eight catches for 131 yards and a touchdown and also threw a 57-yarder to Barkley for New York's first touchdown."I'm proud of everything we showed today," said Beckham. "We just came up short."Beckham had one big mistake in the first half that cost his team.Instead of fielding Michael Palardy's punt at his 5, Beckham went to block a Carolina player. The ball hit off his leg and two other Giants had a chance to recover the loose ball before eight-year veteran special teams player Colin Jones recovered in the end zone for his first career score and a 14-3 Carolina lead.BECKHAM'S COMMENTSBeckham said he addressed his Giants teammates before the game about comments he made about Manning and the offense this past week. He said things had built up inside of him for several weeks and that his comments "came out the wrong way."SAMUEL'S RETURNThe Panthers got another weapon back on the field and he made an immediate impact. Curtis Samuel, a second-round pick in 2017, turned a wide receiver screen into a 25-yard touchdown in the first quarter in his first game since undergoing a minor heart procedure. The speedster, 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds http://www.authenticsneworleanssaints.com/cheap-terron-armstead-jersey , showed some toughness by breaking three tackles to get into the end zone.NATIONAL ANTHEMPanthers safety Eric Reid knelt during the national anthem in protest of racial and social injustice. None of Reid's new Carolina teammates joined him or stood near him at midfield. He is the first Panthers player ever to kneel during the national anthem.INJURIESGiants: Right tackle Chad Wheeler left in the fourth quarter with a hand injury and did not return.Panthers: Wide receiver Devin Funchess was evaluated for a concussion in the fourth quarter following a helmet-to-helmet hit by Giants defensive back Michael Thomas, but returned to the game. ... Center Ryan Kalil was shaken up late in the fourth quarter and did not return as Tyler Larsen finished the game.UP NEXTGiants: Host Eagles on Thursday night.Panthers: Visit Redskins next Sunday. The last unbeaten team in the NFL this season went down to defeat on Sunday, when the New Orleans Saints outlasted the previously undefeated Los Angeles Rams 45-35 in an entertaining battle. As many expected, offense dominated the day, as the two teams combined for 54 first downs and 970 total yards. The Saints looked as if they might blow away the Rams midway through the game, hitting on all cylinders offensively and scoring 21 unanswered points at one point for a 35-17 halftime lead. Los Angeles showed why they are one of the NFL's top contenders early in the second half when they roared from behind to tie the game at 35 in the fourth quarter. The Saints would spring back to life late in the fourth, scoring the game's final ten points and picking up two defensive stops to come away with the win. These two talented teams may very well meet again later this year with even more at stake. For now though, the Saints have taken over the top spot in the NFC, and established themselves as one of the unquestioned midseason favorites for a Super Bowl championship. Here are some of the biggest performers from this big shootout victory. DREW BREES Chuck Cook-USA TODAY SportsBrees, the 39-yr. old gunslinger, outdueled his young gun counterpart, 24-yr. old Jared Goff of the Rams. Goff actually threw for more yards than the NFL's all-time passing yardage leader, 391-346, but Brees threw for more touchdowns (4-3), and was deadly accurate when it counted the most. The quarterback was more aggressive down the field than he had been in weeks, and all but ended the game with a perfectly placed 72 yard scoring strike to Michael Thomas late in the 4th quarter on a vital 3rd down play. The 18-yr. veteran even scrambled for key yardage twice to maintain possession. Brees incredibly has never won a league M.V P. award Color Rush DeMario Davis Jersey , but may be in the driver's seat for his first, as he continues to play as well as he ever has in his legendary career. ALVIN KAMARA Photo by Wesley Hitt/Getty ImagesKamara had been held somewhat in check by opponents in recent weeks, but re-established his dominance on Sunday against a Rams defense determined to contain him. He scored 3 touchdowns in the first half (2 rushing, 1 receiving), and finished as the game's leading rusher with 82 yards on 19 carries. Kamara's 116 yards from scrimmage included 34 in the passing game, but he continues to show that he can handle the responsibilities of a featured back, perhaps the most multi-dimensional threat in the league. BEN WATSON Photo by Wesley Hitt/Getty ImagesWatson caught 3 passes in the game, finishing with 63 yards and a score, all in the first half. He made an incredible catch on a big second quarter touchdown drive that gave his team momentum, then later caught a Brees touchdown pass that widened their second quarter lead. Watson and rookie wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith have been the most consistent compliments to Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Mark Ingram in a Saints offense that will be even more dangerous with their increased contributions. Photo by Wesley Hitt/Getty ImagesWatson's touchdown celebration also revealed that he and wife Kirsten are expecting twins, their 6th and 7th children. Congratulations Kirsten, Ben, and the Watson family!MICHAEL THOMAS Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY SportsThomas dominated his match up with Pro Bowl Ram cornerback Marcus Peters and the rest of the Los Angeles secondary. He caught 12 passes for 211 yards, which broke a franchise record that had stood for 39 years and is the highest receiving total in the NFL so far this season. Thomas frustrated the Los Angeles defense by not only making tough catches in traffic Youth Marshon Lattimore Jersey , but by fighting for extra yards and key first downs on several occasions. He even showcased his underrated elusiveness as well, showing why he is one of the premier receivers in the National Football League. Thomas also endeared himself to Saints fans further when he pulled a cell phone out from under the goal post after his long score, imitating the celebration made famous by New Orleans great Joe Horn fifteen years earlier. Thomas' feats on the field have already placed him with Horn and other New Orleans greats in just his third professional season, and very soon he could be in a class all by himself. Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty ImagesThe New Orleans defense, who had played well over the last month, had its hands full all evening with a Rams offense that finished 483 total yards. They made some big plays in key situations though. Alex Anzalone had an acrobatic first half interception that led to a score. He and Demario Davis led a defensive effort that limited the Rams Todd Gurley to just 89 total yards. Cam Jordan and Sheldon Rankins had solid outings that didn't show up on the stat sheet, despite being often and blatantly mugged all evening by the Los Angeles offensive line. Cornerback P.J. Williams came up big down the stretch, breaking up key passes to former Saint wideout Brandin Cooks to preserve the win. The victory is the Saints seventh in a row, and positions them as the top seed in the powerful NFC. They still have a tough schedule down the stretch, but now have key tiebreaker wins against fellow conference contenders Los Angeles, Minnesota, Washington, and division rival Atlanta. What may be most frightening for the rest of the NFL is the fact that the Saints showed yet again that they are capable of defeating even a top caliber opponent in a variety of ways. The Seattle Seahawks returned from their bye week with two key players back on the field after missing the first six games due to injuries. The Seahawks welcomed back linebacker K.J. Wright and tight end Ed Dickson to practice Monday as they began preparations for Sunday's game against Detroit.Wright's return has been a long time coming after he underwent what was deemed minor arthroscopic knee surgery following Seattle's third preseason game in August. The team initially believed Wright would be back within a few weeks Womens Drew Kaser Jersey , but a setback in his recovery extended the rehab and ultimately led to the starting linebacker missing nearly two months."We're not too bad right now," coach Pete Carroll said. "We're fortunate we're coming out the last few games we've made it through for the most part. Guys felt good coming out of last week and going into the break. It helped us and to get a few guys back, too, it's a nice little boost."Dickson was placed on the non-football injury list before the start of training camp due to groin and quadriceps injuries and never made it into camp, meaning he had to be a spectator for the first six games of the season. Dickson was likely ready to return a couple of weeks ago, but being on the NFL list required him to miss six games.Dickson's return will be a big boost to a position that suffered a setback when rookie Will Dissly injured a patellar tendon in the Week 4 victory over Arizona. Carroll said Dickson ramped up the intensity of his workouts in the past couple weeks in the hopes of being able to play this Sunday."They've been working really hard so this isn't a big jump for them. That's part of the rehab, particularly for Ed who has had a long time to work at this," Carroll said. "He's been running really hard so he should not feel like it's a big step for him to get back on the practice field and should be able to play extensively on the weekend should he make it through the week."Also back at practice for Seattle was rookie defensive lineman Rasheem Green, who had missed three games with an ankle injury, and tight end Nick Vannett after he missed the game in London due to a back injury.NOTES: Carroll said LB Mychal Kendricks, indefinitely suspended by the NFL for his conviction on insider trading charges, had a scheduled hearing with the league Monday. Carroll said he was hoping to hear something from the league Tuesday. ... Carroll said he reassured the team that nothing is expected to change in the wake of owner Paul Allen's death last week. "We're fine. Everything is going to be like we've been doing it We'll carry on with the same intensity and expectations and support and all of that, and that it was our job to carry on in the fashion that Paul wanted us to." ... Seattle claimed LB Emmanuel Ellerbee off waivers from the Los Angeles Chargers after safety T.J. Green left the team. Carroll said Green indicated he didn't want to continue playing. The Los Angeles Chargers took a devastating blow last week during their 23-23 loss to the Denver Broncos. With the team now starting fresh following a five-game win streak, Los Angeles looks to bounce back against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. With a poor offensive line, limited weapons and a young quarterback still learning the ropes, this should be an easy win for the Bolts should the offense click. Following Arizona, the Chargers will have a slew of games that could decide their playoff status should they fall short. With matchups against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and a season finale against Denver http://www.chargersfootballauthentics.com/mike-williams-jersey-authentic , Los Angeles could find themselves missing out on the playoffs once again. It’s great to see the offense finding success but the defensive injuries could cost the team a spot in January down the stretch. There’s two ways to look at this. On one hand, Los Angeles will be picking high in the draft and still have a majority of their core players in tact for the 2019 season. On the other hand, Chargers fans will riot and protest until everyone is gone, the team moves back to San Diego and rebuilds so they can finally have reasons to complain about being a terrible franchise.Knowing the comment sections and the criticism writers get on a daily basis covering the team, it’s safe to say that if Anthony Lynn’s squad doesn’t make it to the Super Bowl, plan B is the likely way to go. Either way, the Chargers are in an uphill climb, but not out of the water just yet. With Week 12 of College Football in motion, this is the best week to see players who could make the jump to the NFL next season. Rivalry week is one of the biggest spectacles in sports due to players and teams giving their best efforts to hold bragging rights for the next year. For a scout, it’s truly a dream to see these players biggest strengths and weaknesses to later evaluate down the road.Since fans will have to wait for Sunday to see if the Bolts can get back on the right track, let’s take a look at some of the biggest names to watch for this weekend come kickoff. Again, there’s going to be a quarterback in this list for the long-term future so leave the ‘Philip Rivers wants to play until 2020’ comments down below. Notre Dame LB Te’Von Coney vs. USC The Chargers lost their leader in the middle Denzel Perryman to a season-ending LCL sprain against the Oakland Raiders. Even if Perryman does resign with the team in the off season to a one-year deal, the Chargers need a linebacker for the long-term future. While Jatavis Brown is showing growth at linebacker, there’s no guarantee he’ll be able to find the success back on the outside next season should Perryman return. Rookie linebacker Kyzir White showed promise as the team’s WILL backer before heading to the IR following knee surgery. In the last installment of BB, Coney did not make the list due to the fact he deserved his own feature. Excellent size and great athletic traits, Coney’s 240 frame would allow him to find success as either a MIKE or SAM backer at the next level. A superb tackler who flies to the ball and uses his speed to close outside gaps, Coney is a high productive tackler that will eliminate the run and produce multiple stops for a defense. While his overall coverage skills need some work, Coney is a solid linebacker who can produce with any front seven.Perhaps not a day 1 pick, Chargers general manager Tom Telesco should have his eyes on the young Irish linebacker somewhere on day 2. Coney’s overall skills would mesh well in Gus Bradley’s defense moving forward. Michigan CB Lavert Hill vs. Michigan Trevor Williams is in a restricted free agent contract this season and could walk at the end of season. There’s reason to believe he would as well as the young cornerback has already been replaced by Michael Davis. Casey Hayward is 29 and will be 32 when his contract expires. Jason Verrett would have to come back on a minimal contract deal following another season-ending injury and his inability to remain healthy. Perhaps no longer the biggest need, it’s still a major need for the Bolts to address in the offseason. In ‘The Game’ http://www.chargersfootballauthentics.com/melvin-ingram-jersey-authentic , there’s always a plethora of NFL talent knocking at the door and waiting to make their way to the next level. While not the biggest corner in the league, Hill’s skills on the outside are relevant thanks to his mirror skills at the line of scrimmage and initial quickness. A strong physical defender, the 5-11 cornerback has the ability to shut down receivers early and make them immobile down the field. With the ability to cause breakups in coverage and force turnovers, the Wolverine cornerback would be a nice addition to the Chargers secondary as a day 2 pick. His size will come into question but his overall skills in man coverage should merit him a decent draft spot. Wisconsin LB T.J. Edwards vs. Minnesota The Chargers will have to decide if Perryman is worth bringing back next season. While he’s been promising in his starts as the team’s middle linebacker, the young linebacker has yet to play in a full season since being drafted out of Miami. Sure, there’s promise in young players such as White and Uchenna Nwosu, but depth is key for the long-term due to the number of injuries that have piled up over the course of the past two seasons. Edwards is not getting enough attention since the Badgers have struggled to keep themselves relevant this season. Still, the redshirt senior linebacker still has been productive on the outside for the team’s defense. A solid tackler with great numbers (85 tackles in 2018), Edwards does a stand up job closing the gap and eliminating the run to the outside. Great awareness in open space, Edwards is best defending the run and shooting the gaps to stuff defenders behind the line of scrimmage. Although limited in coverage, Edwards would be a nice option to consider on the outside. Overall, he’ll need to work on his agility but should find success as a run stopper for the team’s front seven. He’s a nice third-round option for Telesco and his staff to look at. Auburn DT Derrick Brown vs. #1 Alabama Defensive line went from an average need to a massive one following Sunday’s action. With Corey Liuget out for the season, the defensive tackle might be released after the season to save the team some cap space. Rookie Justin Jones will need to show the remainder of the season that he is more than a rotational player and could be a starter. Meanwhile, Brandon Mebane is in a contract year while staring down his 34th birthday. If the Chargers going to wait to address the defensive line need until day 2, Brown could be the pick that makes the most sense. In fact, if he finds success against the Crimson Tide’s offense, he should easily be the pick. A bull rusher up the middle, Brown’s size and speed allows him to overpower single-man blocking sets and stuff running backs behind the line. Good speed off the snap, the Auburn defender possess great hands and the ability to shuck lineman out of his way to find clean openings towards the ball. While a bit inconsistent with his pad level and level of production, Brown would be a solid 1-tech in the NFL. Should the team elect to wait to draft a long-term option up the middle Womens Virgil Green Jersey , the SEC standout might be best option later on in the draft. WR David Sills V vs. #7 Oklahoma The Bolts do not need a receiver at the moment. That could all change in the offseason should Tyrell Williams walk towards a big pay. Travis Benjamin is all but looking for his next home after this season struggles and the Bolts could see a return of Artavis Scott to replace his minimal production. With Keenan Allen being the solid possession receiver and Mike Williams turning into a potential red zone threat, the Bolts could consider using a mid-round pick on another receiver should Williams find a new home. While other receivers do a fantastic job using their speed or frame to find ways to get open, Sills doe a little bit of everything to be productive for the Mountaineers offense. His 6-4 frame allows him to win battle against smaller receivers while his speed and agility can help him work upfield against defenders. Working upfield, Sills has the ability to cross defenders feet and use his frame to climb up the ladder and win in contested catches. While limited in his routes due to West Virginia’s style of offense, Sills has the size, speed and ability to be a viable target in any offense. Should he click with Rivers as he has with Will Grier, the former top quarterback prospect could become a top target for the Bolts offense. N.C. State QB Ryan Finley vs. UNCAt the end of the day, Rivers can’t play forever. He’s soon to be 37-years-old and eventually will begin to digress. While he’s having a fantastic season, Sunday’s loss to Denver proved that the potential Hall of Fame quarterback is beginning to decline overall. Sure, he might have two years left but the Chargers should be in playoff contention during those times. Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa or Georgia’s Jake Fromm won’t be available when the Bolts are on the clock. The Chargers have had success with one Wolfpack quarterback, why not double down? Finley is a weird prospect due to his numbers might outweigh his intangibles at the next level. While he’s thrown for over 3000 passing yards and 21 touchdowns, Finley’s arm strength is average at best and can’t extend pat midfield. His experience under center will allow him to keep drives alive, but his overall decision making might cost his team a touchdown down the stretch. While an accurate quarterback with slot receivers and running backs, his arm tends to drift the deeper downfield he progresses. Still, Finely’s six-year college career has shown promise both at Boise State and in Raleigh. He might not be a great starter, but the team could use a potential backup should something happen to Rivers. If so, Finley should fill in fine for the short-term. Custom Cleveland Browns Jerseys

Interestingly Womens Russell Okung Jersey , aside from the Packers, there is only one other team favored by the FPI calculations to win its division that didn’t win it last year: the Chargers (37%).The Packers did not have Aaron Rodgers very much last year, so don’t underestimate this stat. All of that said, my analysis of these numbers doesn’t necessarily indicate an incredible leap in odds for the Chargers this year.Instead, I think that we’ve seen the Chiefs, Broncos, and Raiders all get worse since the beginning of last season. The Chargers have maintained their status quo and/or improved, and should be very optimistic about this coming season.-Jason “Another winning week in the books” Michaels Oakland Raiders middle linebacker Marquel Lee has no plans to apologize for his scuffle last week with Los Angeles Chargers tight end Antonio Gates late in the fourth quarter. If anything http://www.chargersfootballauthentics.com/philip-rivers-jersey-authentic , Lee is adamant he did the right thing even though it resulted in a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty and a quick admonishment from Raiders coach Jon Gruden."He just told me I'm better than that," Lee said. "I was defending myself. Guy had my helmet. I don't care who you are, you're not going to chump me or punk me. I'm a grown man, too. Coach Gruden was just like, 'Keep your cool. You're better than that.'"A fifth-round pick in 2017, Lee is proving to be better than many people thought. His dust-up with Gates was one of the few signs that Oakland's defense still had some fight in it during the 26-10 loss that dropped the Raiders to 1-4.Lee has taken quickly to defensive coordinator Paul Guenther's system and played well enough over the first month of the season to unseat 14-year veteran and four-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker Derrick Johnson as the team's starter.Heading into Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks in London, Lee is third on the Raiders in tackles behind linebacker Tahir Whitehead and safety Marcus Gilchrist."He's done some good things," Guenther said. "He's progressing in the right direction. Obviously he is playing a lot now so we are counting on him."It's a stark contrast from a year ago when Lee had to be carted off the field with a right knee injury that sidelined him for two weeks. Already behind the learning curve at the time Youth Caleb Sturgis Jersey , the injury prevented Lee from making much of an impact and led to the Raiders signing NaVorro Bowman to play middle linebacker the rest of the season.Bowman wasn't re-signed this past offseason but Oakland brought in Johnson, the former Kansas City Chiefs star, and penciled him into the starting lineup early in training camp.Johnson started the first game of the regular season and took the majority of reps in Week 2 before Lee forced a change with his consistent work in practice and games."I noticed it a lot with my play," Lee said. "Just not as much anxiety on myself, and not much panic. Playing calm, to be honest. Just seeing everything slower and making my plays when I need to."The Raiders are 30th in total defense and have had a penchant for allowing big plays. Lee has made his share of mistakes, most notably blitzing against the Chargers on a screen play when it wasn't called for. The result: a 34-yard gain on a day full of breakdowns by Oakland's defense."The margin for error is small in this game," Lee said. "I feel like we have a great sense of urgency http://www.chargersfootballauthentics.com/dan-feeney-jersey-authentic , especially after last week's loss, seeing the plays that we gave up and could have held onto to win the game."The Raiders don't seem to mind the growing pains with their young inside linebacker. Lee's progress on defense while also playing extensively on special teams has been a positive in an otherwise disappointing start for the team.Lee's challenge this week will be trying to contain Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson."We know that he's a good scrambler and he makes plays in the open field," Lee said. "We plan to keep him in the pocket and keep him corralled, not give him much room to run because that's when he's most dangerous, when he's out of the pocket."Notes: The Raiders held a brief and light practice Thursday before departing for London where they will play the Seahawks at Wembley Stadium. ... Starting left guard Kelechi Osemele (knee) missed a third consecutive day of practice. Jon Feliciano has been practicing in Osemele's place. Defensive tackle Frostee Rucker (neck) also sat out Thursday. www.nflshopoutlet.com/jacksonville-jaguars

Carson Wentz was at his best back on the move again.Wentz tossed two touchdown passes White Stephon Gilmore Jersey , Darren Sproles ran for a score and the Philadelphia Eagles stayed in the hunt for the NFC East title with a 28-13 victory over the depleted Washington Redskins on Monday night. The Eagles (6-6) won consecutive games for the first time since Nick Foles led them to a Super Bowl victory over the Patriots. The Redskins (6-6) lost backup quarterback Colt McCoy to a serious right leg injury in his second game replacing Alex Smith, who broke his right tibia and fibula on Nov. 18. Mark Sanchez took his place.Redskins coach Jay Gruden said after the game that, from what he understands, McCoy fractured his fibula and will miss the rest of the season.Adrian Peterson ran 90 yards for a touchdown on Sanchez's first play under center, giving the Redskins a 10-7 lead. It was the longest run Philadelphia has allowed in franchise history but Washington's lead didn't last long.Wentz, who hasn't scrambled much since returning in Week 3 from surgery to repair two knee ligaments, didn't run for any yards. But he ran around and made big plays when he improvised and on designed rollouts."Anytime he can extend plays with his legs, he's such a great athlete, that's an advantage to the offense," coach Doug Pederson said. "Being able to do that allows us to stay on the field. He's gifted in doing that. It comes natural to him."Sproles put Philadelphia up 14-10 on a 14-yard TD run in the second quarter. Wentz tossed a 4-yard TD pass to Jordan Matthews and connected with Golden Tate on a 2-point conversion to extend the lead to 22-13 early in the fourth quarter. The Eagles twice failed to score inside the red zone and still managed their second-highest point total this season. They had a first down at the Redskins 2 in the second quarter, but Josh Adams was stopped for a loss on fourth down from the 1.They had a first down at the Redskins 5 in the third quarter, but Wentz threw an interception right to Josh Norman.Wentz finished 27 of 39 for 306 yards. He came out firing and led the Eagles to a score on their opening drive for only the third time season.First, he scrambled out of the pocket, motioned Tate to go deep and lofted a 19-yard pass down the left sideline on a first-and-15. Wentz finished the drive by firing a 6-yard TD pass on the run to Tate."Play-action, bootlegs http://www.authenticsnewenglandpatriots.com/cheap-rex-burkhead-jersey , nakeds, getting me on the edge, gives me a chance to make plays and we used that effectively," Wentz said.Dustin Hopkins kicked field goals of 47 and 44 yards for Washington."We have to get a plan ready for Mark moving forward," Gruden said. "We've got to play great football around him, which we didn't do tonight."SANCHIZE TIMESanchez, a former first-round pick who led the New York Jets to consecutive AFC championship games in his first two seasons, is now a starter for the first time since he played for the Eagles in 2015."I'm grateful for the opportunity. I was praying for the opportunity," he said, adding his "heart definitely breaks for" McCoy and Smith.WELCOME BACKSproles scored his first TD since Dec. 22, 2016. Sproles only played three games last season before he tore a knee ligament and broke his forearm on the same play. He was sidelined since Week 1 this year because of a hamstring injury."I'm really happy for him," center Jason Kelce said. "I don't usually know who is back there but when I saw it was him and he got in the end zone, I had a big sense of joy. He's a phenomenal guy."RECORD SETTERZach Ertz broke Brian Westbrook's franchise record for receptions in a season. Ertz has 93 catches and is closing in on Jason Witten's single-season record (110) for tight ends. Westbrook had 90 catches in 2007."That's awesome, but I'm sure he's just happy we won," Wentz said.INJURIESRedskins: LG Jonathan Cooper (arm) http://www.authenticsnewenglandpatriots.com/cheap-marcus-cannon-jersey , RB Tony Bergstrom (ankle), CB Fabian Moreau (knee) and LB Ryan Anderson (hamstring) left the game.Eagles: DT Tim Jernigan (back spasms) left in the first quarter and LT Jason Peters came out on the final series with an undisclosed injury.UP NEXTRedskins: Host the New York Giants (4-8) on Sunday.Eagles: Visit the Dallas Cowboys (7-5) on Sunday. Tonight, the New England Patriots will face their biggest challenge of the year when the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs come to town. Combining an explosive offensive attack with an opportunistic yet at times inconsistent defense, the Chiefs are sitting at 5-0 heading into their game against the 3-2 Patriots – a contest that will likely have an enormous impact on the AFC’s playoff picture even this early during the season.Naturally, New England needs to bring its A-game as the Chiefs pose problems on both sides of the football. In the latest episode of the Belestrator, head coach Bill Belichick illustrated just how those problems look like: Belichick and quarterback-turned-commentator took a look at Kansas City’s pass rush, and the team’s explosive passing game led by second-year passer Patrick Mahomes:Belichick and Zolak start by taking a look at Kansas City’s defense, led by linemen Chris Jones and Dee Ford. “[Jones] is long, quick, powerful, he can make plays with his power, with his quickness, with his pursuit; he bats balls, he’s a good pass rusher,” Belichick said about the Chiefs’ starting defensive tackle who is ranked as Pro Football Focus’ 22nd best player at his position this year.“He can ruin the game and so can Dee Ford http://www.authenticsnewenglandpatriots.com/cheap-elandon-roberts-jersey ,” Belichick continued. “This guy’s as fast as a pass rusher as we’ll see all year. He’s got good quickness.” Ford currently leads the Chiefs with 4.0 sacks and with fellow linebacker Justin Houston likely out tonight will play an even more important role when it comes to stopping Tom Brady and the Patriots’ offense. “Those two guys cause a lot of negative plays for the Chiefs defense.”While Jones and Ford are without a doubt outstanding players, the main reason for Kansas City’s success so far in 2018 is the team’s offense led by MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes and explosive pass catchers Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. New England needs to find a way to slow the two talented receivers down today: the duo has combined for 55 catches this season, for 832 yards and six scores.“We’re dealing with a strong-armed quarterback, and a receiver with explosive speed that can run through any type of defense,” Belichick said about the Mahomes-Hill connection, which hooked up 27 times so far this year. “[Hill] can kill you on the short plays just as quickly as he can kill you on the long ones.”Kelce cannot be forgotten either, though. Arguably the NFL’s second best tight end behind the Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski, the 29-year old leads Kansas City with 28 catches. “Kelce [is] really a go-to guy for them anywhere on the field but particularly in the red area and near the goal line,” said Belichick about him. “This guy’s a really good football player, especially in the red area, third down, and goal-line situations.”Belichick’s breakdown further confirms one thing: New England will have its hands full today.

Josh McCown might be in for at least one more start for the New York Jets. The 39-year-old quarterback banged his hand on a helmet White Ja'Whaun Bentley Jersey , causing a cut during New York's 27-13 loss to New England on Sunday. He had a heavy wrap on his hand as he left the locker room, but it isn't expected to keep him out of practice Wednesday."It's doing better," McCown said during a conference call Monday. "There's still some soreness or whatnot, but feeling better."McCown made his second straight start and went 26 of 45 for 276 yards and a touchdown with one interception in place of rookie Sam Darnold, who has been sidelined with a foot strain. The injury could keep the No. 3 overall pick sidelined for another week, but coach Todd Bowles said it's too early to tell whether Darnold might skip another practice."I'm not sure yet," Bowles said. "He's getting better, so we'll see on Wednesday."Darnold has not played or participated in team drills since injuring his foot at Miami on Nov. 4. Davis Webb has served as McCown's backup in New York's past two games. The Jets, who have lost five straight, play at Tennessee on Sunday. If Darnold sits out against the Titans, there's hope he might be able to return for New York's road game at Buffalo on Dec. 9."It'll be good for him just to play Cheap Jonathan Jones Jersey ," Bowles said. "The more games he can play, the better off he'll be. Obviously, he's got to get healthy first and he has to practice so he can get back and used to the routine again and then we'll see from there. But it's important for him to get reps."Darnold struggled in the three games before he was injured with just two touchdown passes and seven interceptions in that span. Despite missing the past two games, Darnold still leads the NFL with 14 INTs.Bowles reiterated that the time on the field, including the struggles, will be good for Darnold moving forward into next season."You can't mistake the experience for not playing," the coach said. "The more he plays, the more he sees and the slower the game gets, and the faster he learns, the better off he will be."Darnold very much remains the focus of the Jets for the future despite the overwhelming uncertainty surrounding the franchise. With the Jets struggling as the season hits the home stretch, it appears unlikely Bowles will return next year. The defense Cheap Devin McCourty Jersey , his bread and butter, has failed to get a takeaway in a franchise-record five straight games."It's not mind-boggling, but you want to get them," Bowles said. "We work on them all the time and they come in bunches. We've had our hand on a few. We've just got to come down with them."New York allowed 498 yards against Tom Brady and the Patriots , including a whopping 215 on the ground. The Jets have also been susceptible to giving up big plays with 28 of 20 or more yards during their five-game skid. The offense has also been a major issue, with the Jets failing to put up more than 17 points in any of their losses during that span. They have scored a total of 56 points, and that comes after New York outscored Indianapolis 42-34 in its most recent victory on Oct. 14.The Jets had 338 yards against the Patriots, but oddly ran the ball just 15 times for 74 yards while McCown threw 45 passes."I thought he called a good game," Bowles said of offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates.Bowles added that he has no plans to take any of the play-calling duties from Bates, whose offense ranks 29th overall in the NFL."It's everybody involved," Bowles said. "It's not just Jeremy. (It's) the other coaches and it's the players as well. We are all involved in that. It's never pointed to one person."Other than New York's 41-10 loss to Buffalo two weeks ago Ryan Allen Jersey , Bowles said the common thread during the skid has been an inability to close out opponents. One player being out of place in a crucial spot, not communicating and a simple lack of execution have all been culprits. One thing that has remained consistent throughout all the losing has been Bowles' message to the team."We have a good understanding of each other," Bowles said. "Our communication is very clear. They understand where I am, I understand where they are, we understand where we are as a team. It's a warrior's sport, you've got to get up and play every week regardless. It's not how many times you fall down, it's how many times you can get up. We're going to keep plugging." COSTA MESA, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry is hopeful of playing less than eight months after suffering a knee injury, but it is likely to be a game-time decision.Henry is listed as questionable on the injury report going into Sunday’s AFC divisional-round game at New England. He was a full participant in all three days of practice leading up to the game.Henry said following Friday’s practice that he has the mindset that he will be active.“It was a long, long, long journey Cheap Cordarrelle Patterson Jersey ,” Henry said. “Anytime I’m out there I feel like I can make a difference, so that’s my mindset going into any game that I play. Like I said, long journey, so just a lot of excitement around here.”Henry, the team’s second-round pick in 2016, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee while running a route during a non-contact drill on May 22, the first day of organized team activities. He had surgery two weeks later and had been on the physically unable to perform list until Jan. 7. He returned to practice Dec. 17, but the Chargers had three weeks to decide whether to add him to the roster or place him on injured reserve.Coach Anthony Lynn said Henry looked better as the week went on but that he still wants to evaluate his practices before making a final decision. If Henry plays against the Patriots, Lynn said he would be on a snap countHenry has 81 receptions for 1,057 yards and 12 touchdowns over his first two seasons. This season, Antonio Gates Marcus Cannon Jersey , Virgil Green and Sean Culkin have been targeted 79 times and have 53 receptions. They are averaging 11.5 yards per catch and have three touchdowns.“The knee feels good, so I’m not really concerned about that . I’m ready to go. I’ve done it my whole life, so it will be different, but once I get a hit out of the way I’ll be feeling good,” Henry said.Fullback Derek Watt (shoulder), cornerback Brandon Facyson (concussion) and linebacker Kyle Wilson (concussion) are also questionable.Running back Melvin Gordon was a full participant Friday and will play. He did not practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday after suffering a knee injury in last week’s 23-17 win over Baltimore. The Chargers also announced they have signed kicker Nick Rose, who is expected to handle kickoffs. Michael Badgley has made 20 of 22 field goals during the regular season and playoffs but only 15 percent of his kickoffs have resulted in touchbacks (9 of 60), a league low. Rose had a 71 percent touchback rate (32 of 47) in 10 games with the Redskins and Chargers last season.Patriots kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson averaged nearly 29 yards per return during the regular season, third in the league.“He has a strong kickoff leg,” Lynn said of Rose. “Our coverage units have been outstanding and the guy we are facing is one of the best in the business.”

Trailing the New England Patriots 7-0 after the first quarter of play Mike Remmers Jersey , the Minnesota Vikings started the second quarter facing a 2nd-and-12 from their own 22-yard line. Kirk Cousins connected with C.J. Ham to make it a 3rd-and-6, but Cousins was then flushed out of the pocket by Trey Flowers and threw short of Dalvin Cook to end the drive. Matt Wile came in to punt it away, and the punt was returned by Julian Edelman to the New England 31-yard line for the next possession for Tom Brady and company.Rex Burkhead carried for a 10-yard gain on first down to move the sticks for the Patriots right away, and Stephen Weatherly then blew Burkhead up in the backfield for a loss of four. A shovel pass from Brady to James White got eight yards, and another run by White, this one an end-around, allowed the Patriots to convert and move into Minnesota territory. The James White Show then continued, as Brady hit him with a short pass that he turned into a 15-yard gain, and the Patriots were down to the Minnesota 29.Cordarrelle Patterson then took a handoff for a gain of six, and a toss to Burkhead was stopped short of the first down by a yard. Sony Michel then converted on third down, and the Patriots were once again in the red zone. The Vikings then forced another third down situation Cheap Everson Griffen Jersey , and Brady found White once again to make it a first-and-goal for New England. Michel was stopped on first-and-goal, and a pass to Edelman was stopped short as well. Brady tried to find Edelman on third down, but Anthony Harris managed to knock the ball away to bring up fourth-and-goal at the 1. Stephen Gostkowski came on and connected on a 20-yard field goal to increase the New England lead to 10-0 with 5:45 left in the half.Ameer Abdullah got an opportunity to return Gostkowski’s kickoff, and he got a nice return out to the Minnesota 35. Dalvin Cook got the drive started with a nice gain of 18 yards, and the Vikings were quickly into New England territory at the 48. After a short pass to Cook, a nice run by him was erased by a holding penalty on Tom Compton to make it 2nd-and-17. Cousins misfired on second down, and a short pass to Latavius Murray was nowhere close to the line to gain. Wile came on to punt again, and Edelman called for a fair catch at the New England 17.The Patriots started the drive with a run by Michel and a pass to Rob Gronkowski to appear to move the sticks and bring us to the two-minute warning. Mike Zimmer threw the challenge flag for the spot, arguing that Gronkowski was short of the line to gain, and the Patriots then had third-and-inches. To the Vikings’ credit, the defense rallied and hammered James White for a loss Cheap Kyle Rudolph Jersey , so after the (second) two-minute warning, the Patriots were forced to punt. Ryan Allen put his foot to the ball, and Marcus Sherels brought the ball to the Minnesota 25.Cousins started the drive off with a nice pass to Stefon Diggs on a slant, and he pushed the ball to the midfield stripe. Cousins then found Rudolph for another big chunk of yardage to the New England 27. Cook then carried the ball for five yards, and Cousins connected with Aldrick Robinson for seven more down to the Patriots’ 15-yard line. A short pass to Cook went for no gain, and a quick screen to Stefon Diggs went down to the 5-yard line for a first-and-goal! Cousins finished the drive off with his first completion of the day to Adam Thielen for a five-yard touchdown! Dan Bailey connected on the extra point, and with just fifteen seconds left in the half, Minnesota cut the lead to 10-7.The Patriots got the ensuing kickoff to their own 40-yard line, as Dan Bailey squibbed it in an attempt to avoid Cordarrelle Patterson (though the Patriots pitched it to him on the return anyway). The Patriots completed a short pass to Gronkowski, but he was stopped short of midfield. The officials put a second back on the clock, and Brady was able to complete a pass to White that he took for a lot of yardage. . .42 yards. . .but White was stopped short of the goal line and the teams went into the locker room with the Patriots leading 10-7.While not looking great for most of the first half Andrew Sendejo Jersey , the final drive really gave Kirk Cousins a boost, as he’s now 15-of-19 for 109 yards and a touchdown on the afternoon. Stefon Diggs, who was questionable going into this one, is the team’s leading receiver with three catches for 40 yards. Kyle Rudolph has 33 yards on a pair of catches, and Dalvin Cook has caught five balls, but for a total of just 11 yards. C.J. Ham has a pair of catches for 11 yards, and Aldrick Robinson (7 yards) and Latavius Murray (2 yards) each have a catch. Thielen has just the one catch for five yards, but it’s the most important one of the game for the Vikings thus far, as it resulted in their lone touchdown.Cook has done a nice job on the ground thus far, too, as he’s carried the ball five times for 62 yards and gotten a couple of solid gains. Latavius Murray has carried the ball twice for a total of five yards.New England will get the football coming out of the locker room at halftime Cheap Harrison Smith Jersey , and they’ll do so with a 10-7 lead over the Vikings. Can the Vikings keep the momentum they gained at the end of the first half? In December, we passed along the news that the Minnesota Vikings had worked out Canadian Football League quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell. Now, as the calendar is nearly ready to turn to February, the Vikings are apparently among the favorites to sign the reigning CFL Most Outstanding Player, but they’ve got some competition.According to CFL News, the Vikings are one of three teams that are reportedly in the running for Mitchell’s services. The other two are the Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars.During his time as the quarterback of the Calgary Stampeders, Mitchell led his team to two Grey Cup titles (2014 and 2018) and was named the league’s Most Outstanding Player twice (2016 and 2018). He split his college career between Southern Methodist and Eastern Washington, and went directly to the CFL after going undrafted in 2012.The news report says that Mitchell is apparently assessing where he “has a shot.” If that’s the case, of the three teams on the list of reported favorites, the Vikings would appear to be a long shot. Whether anyone likes it or not, the Vikings are basically committed to Kirk Cousins for the next two seasons as their starter. On the other hand Cheap Linval Joseph Jersey , Case Keenum is in the last year of his contract in Denver and wasn’t terribly impressive in his first season, while it appears that the Blake Bortles Experience is over with in Jacksonville, meaning that job would be up for grabs. If Mitchell would be satisfied with being a backup, then he might be able to find a fit in Minnesota. If he wants a real opportunity for playing time right away, you probably don’t have to order your purple Bo Levi Mitchell jerseys quite yet.(Hat tip to The Viking Age, who had this one before we did.)

We’re into the last quarter of the 2018 NFL regular season Cheap Laquon Treadwell Jersey , folks, and that means it’s time to figure out which teams that aren’t the Minnesota Vikings we need to cheer for in order to get the purple into the NFC playoffs. To determine which games are the most important, I’ll be using the same New York Times tool that Ted uses when he does his playoff odds on Mondays.I first want to point out that, independent of the results of any of the games that happen on Sunday, the Vikings’ chances of making the 2018 NFC playoffs move to 81% with a victory over the Seahawks and drop to 39% if they lose in Seattle on Monday night. There are several games that could either enhance or diminish those chances, so let’s go over which games in particular those are.Games in the early windowCarolina Panthers at Cleveland BrownsCarolina is one of the Vikings’ primary challengers for a Wild Card spot in the NFC, but they’re reeling in a serious way, having dropped four in a row to fall to 6-6. Now word is filtering out that Cam Newton is dealing with a shoulder injury that will require surgery after the season. The Browns, under the leadership of noted human colostomy bag Gregg Williams, are actually showing some signs of life. They have a record of 4-7-1 this season, but they’re 3-2-1 at home and could pose a serious threat to the Panthers in this one.Verdict - Go Browns!New York Giants at Washington RedskinsLike the Panthers, the Redskins are another of the Vikings’ competitors for a potential Wild Card berth. However, they’re now on their third quarterback, as Colt McCoy (who replaced Alex Smith) suffered a broken leg during Washington’s loss on Monday night to Philadelphia, and will be replaced by Mark Sanchez. Woof. Not to be outdone, the Giants have announced that Odell Beckham, Jr. will not play on Sunday with a bruised quad, meaning that Eli Manning will have to miss other targets instead. This likely won’t be a pretty game, but the Giants could do us a solid here.Verdict - Go Giants! How could these two games affect the Vikings’ playoff chances? Well, independent of the other results on Sunday:CLE win, NYG win - Vikings 83% to make playoffs with win over SEA, 55% with loss to SEACLE win, WAS win - Vikings 80% to make playoffs with win over SEA, 39% with loss to SEACAR win, NYG win - Vikings 80% to make playoffs with win over SEA http://www.vikingscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-danielle-hunter-jersey , 38% with loss to SEACAR win, WAS win - Vikings 76% to make playoffs with win over SEA, 32% with loss to SEAGame in the late windowPhiladelphia Eagles at Dallas CowboysThe Cowboys could pretty much end the competitive portion of Philadelphia’s season with a win on Sunday, as they would have a head-to-head sweep over the Eagles in the NFC East race. It would also drop the Eagles to 6-7 on the year, and they have to head to Los Angeles to play the Rams in Week 15. I know a lot of old-school Vikings fans might not want to cheer for the Cowboys, but it really is for the best for the Vikings at this point if they win.Verdict - Go Cowboys! These are the three most important games for the Vikings, so let’s break down the potential combinations of results and see how they could affect the team’s playoff hopes.CLE win/NYG win/DAL win - 88% playoff chance with win, 52% with lossCLE win/NYG win/PHI win - 82% playoff chance with win, 46% with lossCLE win/WAS win/DAL win - 81% playoff chance with win, 46% with lossCAR win/NYG win/DAL win - 81% playoff chance with win, 40% with lossCAR win/NYG win/PHI win - 79% playoff chance with win, 36% with lossCLE win/WAS win/PHI win - 77% playoff chance with win, 38% with lossCAR win/WAS win/PHI win - 76% playoff chance with win, 31% with lossCAR win/WAS win/DAL win - 73% playoff chance with win, 32% with lossGame that potentially helps our division chances but not our playoff odds overallLos Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears (Sunday night)Since the Vikings aren’t in the division lead at this point, a Bears loss on Sunday doesn’t really change their odds of making the playoffs. Independent of any other results on Sunday, a Rams win over the Bears would keep the Vikings’ playoff odds at 82% with a win over Seattle and 41% with a loss to the Seahawks, so it doesn’t move the proverbial needle that much. A Chicago loss coupled with a Minnesota win, however, would greatly enhance the Vikings’ chances of potentially winning the NFC North, particularly if both teams could hold serve until their rematch at U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 17.Games that don’t matter all that much but you’ll be paying attention to anywayNew Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay BuccaneersThe Buccaneers are still, technically, in the Wild Card hunt, but honestly. . .nobody knows what the heck is going on with that team from one minute to the next. The Saints are going to want to keep up with the Rams now that they’ve fallen to the #2 spot in the NFC. A New Orleans victory would give the Vikings a slight nudge, but not significant enough where you have to cheer for New Orleans if you feel dirty for doing so http://www.vikingscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-tom-compton-jersey , I don’t think.Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay PackersThis game has pretty much no effect on the Vikings’ playoff standing, but honestly. . .it’s not as though you were going to be cheering for Green Bay anyway, right? (You’ll probably have to do that next week, though.)Games that have absolutely no bearing on the Vikings’ playoff chancesNew York Jets at Buffalo BillsIndianapolis Colts at Houston TexansBaltimore Ravens at Kansas City ChiefsNew England Patriots at Miami DolphinsCincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles ChargersDenver Broncos at San Francisco 49ersDetroit Lions at Arizona CardinalsPittsburgh Steelers at Oakland RaidersAs you’d probably guessed. So, in review. . .go Cleveland, go New York Giants, go Dallas, go Los Angeles Rams, and go New Orleans (if you can bring yourself to do it). Obviously, it will be super helpful if the Vikings can take care of their own business on Monday night, but since we have to wait until then anyway, we could just as well have some cheering interests in the meantime. The competiveness of the NFL leaves little room for sentiment, not even for the most accomplished, respected or trusted players.Brian Robison and Terence Newman were the latest reminders of that, left off the regular-season roster by the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday when the deadline for reaching the 53-player limit arrived. The Vikings released Robison before his 12th season with the team was to begin. Then, they announced that Newman will retire and immediately join the coaching staff — three days before his 40th birthday.Robison, who's tied for ninth in Vikings history with 60 career sacks, was the longest-tenured player on the team. Drafted in the fourth round in 2007, he spent six of his 11 years with the Vikings as a full-time starter. Danielle Hunter moved ahead of him on the depth chart in 2017, and for the second straight offseason Robison took a pay cut to return in 2018.With Stephen Weatherly (third year) and Tashawn Bower (second year) performing well in the preseason as backups to Hunter and Everson Griffen, Robison's adjusted $1.1 million salary was still too much for the Vikings to carry considering the 35-year-old's reduced role."This one hurts, but it's not goodbye," Robison wrote in a thank-you message on his Twitter account . "More like see you later."The Vikings felt strongly enough about Robison that they included statements from owners Zygi and Mark Wilf, general manager Rick Spielman and head coach Mike Zimmer in their announcement of his release."Brian has been one of the best leaders I've seen in my career, and I'm happy I got the opportunity to coach him http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic.com/rashod-hill-jersey-authentic ," Zimmer said. "He's been such a great player for us and an even better help building the kind of culture we want with this team."Newman joined the Vikings in 2015, reuniting with Zimmer after playing for him with Dallas (four seasons) and Cincinnati (two seasons) when Zimmer was the defensive coordinator for those teams. The fifth overall pick in the 2003 draft, Newman has 42 career interceptions, which was the most among active players following the retirement this spring of DeAngelo Hall. With Newman's announcement, Carolina's Julius Peppers (age 38) becomes the oldest defensive player in the league. The Vikings said they'd provide more details on Newman's role on the coaching staff in the near future. In addition to serving as a valuable mentor to starters Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes, Newman stepped in capably in the slot as the nickel cornerback when Mackensie Alexander struggled. The Vikings drafted Mike Hughes in the first round, though, giving them plenty of depth.Robison and Newman were the only two players older than 30 on the roster. Strong safety Andrew Sendejo (Sept. 9), cornerback/punt returner Marcus Sherels (Sept. 30) and Griffen (Dec. 22) will turn 31 during the season. The Vikings cut seven wide receivers this weekend, including Chad Beebe, Cayleb Jones and Kendall Wright. Beebe, the son of former Buffalo folk hero Don Beebe, had a standout preseason but was out of action with an injury this week. Jones was charged with domestic assault and two other crimes this week for allegedly shoving his girlfriend during an argument at a hotel. Wright has 339 career catches, after playing his first five seasons in the NFL with Tennessee and last year for Chicago. The fifth and final wide receiver spot on the team went to Brandon Zylstra, a native of Spicer, Minnesota, who played at NCAA Division III Concordia College and played the last two seasons in the CFL.The Vikings placed backup linebacker and special teams contributor Kentrell Brothers on the suspended list, for a previously announced punishment from the NFL for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy.Center Pat Elflein was removed from the physically unable to perform list after being held out for the entire preseason following offseason ankle and shoulder surgeries. If he's not cleared to play in the season opener on Sept. 9 against San Francisco, either Brett Jones or Danny Isidora will play center. Cornelius Edison, who spent much of training camp as the first team center, was among the players released.

Somewhat lost in the ups and downs of the Vikings this year is the emergence of Anthony Harris at safety.Harris took over for the injured Andrew Sendejo and has quietly compiled an impressive performance and looks to have secured a starting job at safety beyond the 2018-19 season.Elite SeasonHarris has not only managed to fill-in nicely for Sendejo Womens Laquon Treadwell Jersey , he is also the highest rated player on the Vikings defense, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF) - and ahead of his counterpart Harrison Smith who was the highest rated player in the league last season.Harris has achieved his elite ranking (he’s currently the 2nd highest ranked safety in the league) largely through his elite coverage and tackling ability, which complements Harrison Smith who’s been elite as a tackler and in run defense. In coverage, Harris has been targeted only 8 times in 202 coverage snaps, allowing only 3 receptions for 30 yards - and a measly 9.4 passer rating when targeted. He’s also had 3 interceptions and 2 pass breakups. And he hasn’t committed any penalties this season either. As a tackler, Harris has 16 tackles, and 6 assists, including 2 stops. He hasn’t missed a tackle yet this season either, according to PFF. And while those numbers pale in comparison to Harrison Smith (49 tackles http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic.com/andrew-sendejo-jersey-authentic , 12 assists, 18 stops), Harris has functioned as a free safety or center-fielder most of the time - and that’s not the guy you want leading the team in tackles. But when he’s been involved, he’s done his job. Here are some nice plays Harris has made this year, including his interceptions and some stops. Two of his three interceptions were of the ‘effort’ variety, not simply being in the right place at the right time to catch an errant throw or tipped ball. He also had a couple nice stops against New England - preventing a TD and a nice tackle on Gronkowski that (after review) proved to be a stop short of a first down. He’s had a couple other nice stops as well when called upon to do so.The Long Road to Becoming a StarterAnthony Harris played four years at Virginia before the Vikings signed him back in 2015 as an undrafted free agent (UDFA), making him yet another gem the Vikings have acquired and developed from this market. He was signed to the practice squad initially and later promoted to the active roster after several injuries at the safety position. In subsequent seasons Harris beat out the competition to be a backup free safety, while also proving himself on special teams - as a few other notable late round/UDFA picks have done for the Vikings in recent years. He also had some spot duty when Harrison Smith or Andrew Sendejo were injured, and has become one of the best special teams players for the Vikings as well this season and last.Stepping Up at the Right TimeFor Anthony Harris Youth Mike Hughes Jersey , having a career year as a starter on defense could not have come at a better time. He’s in the last year of his rookie deal, and with Andrew Sendejo on IR, on the wrong side of 30, and scheduled to make $5.5m next season with no dead cap, Harris could be in-line for a promotion and substantial pay-raise.Harris just turned 27 in October, so he is just entering his prime and looks to be a nice complement to Harrison Smith on the back-end for some years to come if the Vikings are able to extend him. I imagine that may be more of a short-term priority now for the Vikings than it was when the season began. It was a little less than two weeks ago that we passed along the word that Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph was the team’s nominee for this year’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. Now, he’s absolutely running away with the online vote for the award, but there’s still plenty of time left to ensure that he brings home the big prize. As of right now, Rudolph is sitting at a total of. . .refreshes browser again. . .146 Womens Danielle Hunter Jersey ,512 votes. The second place contestant right now is Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott with 83,950 votes. So, at this point, Rudolph is nearly lapping the field. However, if you’ve been tweeting or re-tweeting on Rudolph’s behalf, it isn’t time to stop or slow down yet, as the voting for this contest runs all the way through 13 January. So, how do you vote, if you haven’t been?Well Womens Dalvin Cook Jersey , you go onto the Twitter machine and start tweeting (or retweeting) tweets with the hashtag #WPMOYChallenge and Rudolph’s last name, like this:#WPMOYChallenge RudolphMake sure there’s a space between the hashtag and the last name. . .the interwebs won’t count them if they’re all crunched together.Again, retweets count for this as well, so if you’d rather just retweet a bunch of other people’ tweets with the hashtag in them, you can do that as well. The nominee for the award that gets the most Twitter mentions will get $25,000 for their charity of choice. Yes, the runner-up get $10,000, which is nice Youth Kyle Rudolph Jersey , too. . .but come on. Doesn’t #82 deserve the extra money for the charity of his choice? You’re damn right he does. So, if you have a Twitter account and haven’t been throwing a few votes out there for Kyle Rudolph, we’d like to ask that you go ahead and do that. And if you have been, awesome. . .keep it up!

Mark Ingram could see that the New Orleans Saints' offense was doing fine without him while he was at home in Florida Womens Alex Anzalone Jersey , watching on television like any other fan during his four-game suspension. The veteran running back also would like to think New Orleans could be even better with him in the game plan, particularly in light of how fresh and motivated he feels after spending a month away from the club."I've had a lot of stuff pent up and built up and I'm ready to go. I'm hungry and ready to play ball and just help our team," said Ingram, whose suspension stemmed from his use of a banned substance. "They've been playing well, so I'm just trying to make us stronger and make us more explosive."Ingram joins a unit that has averaged 418.3 yards and 34.3 points per game. Alvin Kamara, the 2017 offensive rookie of the year, has gotten more work in Ingram's absence and has responded by devastating defenses with his dynamism on a variety of runs and receptions.Kamara leads the NFL with 611 yards from scrimmage (275 rushing, 336 passing) and is tied with several players for the NFL lead in TDs with six."He's been a monster, man, just being able to carry the load and what he's doing is special," Ingram said. Now the Saints will see if Ingram and Kamara 鈥?a tandem called "Boom and Zoom" by many fans 鈥?can again co-exist in the same backfield as well as they did last season."I'm not worried about it," Ingram said. "I'm going to just do me. I'm not Alvin. Alvin's not me so I'm just going to do what I do, do what I've been doing to get to this point in my career."Saints coach Sean Payton said he will have to "figure out the balance" of snaps between the two Pro Bowl running backs starting with Monday night's game against the Washington Redskins."Of course, you have a little bit more versatility with someone with Mark's experience and I know it will be good for us offensively to have him back," Payton said.Although the Saints have been among the NFL's top offenses through the first four weeks Womens Terron Armstead Jersey , Payton said Ingram's return is "significant in a number of ways," ranging from his aptitude in pass protection to the way his presence allows the Saints to reduce the physical toll on Kamara."We talked all offseason about how this first month was going to be without Mark," Payton recalled. "The idea was for us to kind of keep those touches (for Kamara) in a similar area (to last season), the playing time in a similar area 鈥?and of course we weren't able to do that. In other words, his numbers did increase, and yet there's a wear and tear that takes place with that. When you're looking at a 16-week season, we look at it as having two outstanding running backs and I think they complement each other extremely well."Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Ingram's return "changes a lot" because of how much harder it is for defenses to anticipate where the ball will go when both Ingram and Kamara are on the field together."Those two guys being in the game together, it's a tough deal," Gruden said. "You know in-between-the-tackle runs will be more prevalent now. The power running game is back up and running. The things that they haven't it done without Ingram, they might do this week."Saints players often refer to Ingram as the consummate teammate 鈥?someone whose energy, unselfishness and work ethic are contagious.Ingram's affection for his teammates was apparent last Sunday night when he drove out to the airport to meet the team after New Orleans' victory over the New York Giants."I was excited that they won, so I just wanted to experience that a little bit," Ingram said.Left tackle Terron Armstead described the scene at the airport as "just joy," adding, "Mark is a guy loved by the entire locker room and organization. It's just his energy that he brings. His positivity he brings to the team.""Mark is a huge addition http://www.neworleanssaintsteamonline.com/josh-leribeus-jersey ," Armstead added. "I feel like our offense works best when 鈥?not just the offense, our entire team works best when the run game is going. When we can impose our will on opposing defenses."Ingram spent the past month in Florida, staying in shape with former NFL receiver Anquan Bolden 鈥?a long-time workout partner."He's retired, but he goes to work out every single day," Ingram said. "It was good to have a buddy to be able to work with and not just be out there putting in the work by myself."Saints players and Payton said Ingram looks ready."I mean, he wasn't gone for a year-and-a-half, or been a castaway on an island," Payton said. "It was four weeks. He's in good shape." As the New Orleans Saints and their fans try to move on (but certainly never forget) the way the 2018 season ended, some are ready to look towards the new year. The team will look to stay a contender in 2019, and is currently estimated to have around $19.3 million in space to work with according to Over the Cap. BREAKING: Joey Bosa now in a walking boot Well this isn’t good news for Sunday. Arguably the Chargers best defensive player is very likely going to miss the opener. So here is how this developed. Joey Bosa hurt his foot early in camp and everyone was told “it isn’t a big deal.” Then he didn’t play in the 3rd preseason game when most of the starters usually play and everyone was told “if this was a regular season game Joey would be playing.” Yesterday Joey didn’t practice and Lynn said “he might not be available for the opener. But we’re hopeful.” Now Bosa has missed a 2nd straight practice and is in a walking boot on the side of the practice field. That sure went south fast. This definitely doesn’t look like the team trying to mess with the Chiefs’ game planning. If the rest of the starters on defense are good to go I think the Chargers will be able to survive on Sunday. However www.chargersauthorizedshops.com , when your best defender isn’t on the field that’s sub-optimal. It’s also a bad look when “not a big deal” drags on for over a month and now your best defender is missing week 1. Joey Bosa remains sidelined with a foot injury but the Los Angeles Chargers defensive end is hopeful he can return in early November.Bosa addressed his injury for the first time Wednesday as the Chargers (1-2) began preparations for Sunday's matchup against San Francisco (1-2)."There is a little instability in the tendon, but there's a good chance I won't have surgery," Bosa said. "I'm trying to be as safe as possible. If I try to rush back now it wouldn't be good."Bosa has a bone bruise to his left foot. He first injured it during training camp on Aug. 7 and didn't play in any of the four preseason games. Bosa acknowledged he should have been cautious for another week or two instead of trying to rush back for the regular-season opener against Kansas City. He reinjured the foot on Sept. 5 and has been sidelined since then. After Bosa re-aggravated the injury, he visited Dr. Robert Anderson, who is a foot specialist based in Green Bay. Bosa's foot was put in a cast for two weeks and he had it taken off earlier this week. Now that he is back in a walking boot, Bosa is hoping to resume running in a couple weeks. His latest goal 鈥?provided there are no setbacks 鈥?is to return for the final nine games of the season. That would be Nov. 4 at Seattle and follows the Chargers' bye week."I could have prevented this if I wasn't so set on pushing to be back (for the regular season). It has been a huge learning experience Los Angeles Chargers Womens T-Shirt ," Bosa said. "It's a tough injury to deal with but when the time comes I will be 100 percent ready."Bosa, who has 23 sacks in his first two NFL seasons, isn't the only player in his family who is dealing with an injury. Younger brother Nick, who is a junior All-American defensive end at Ohio State, is likely out until November due to a lower abdominal muscle injury. The two talk every day and the older Bosa joked that his brother "is enjoying all the best food he's ever eaten" while rehabbing in Philadelphia."I asked him how he felt and he said he's 'ready to take down a small village' so he must be feeling real good," he said. "It (stinks) for my dad and the family right now but we're both looking ahead."Bosa's absence has definitely had an impact as two of the Chargers' starters on the defensive line are out. Defensive tackle Corey Liuget is eligible to return Monday when his four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances ends.Without Bosa and Liuget Los Angeles Chargers Hats , the Chargers are ranked in the middle of the league in sacks with seven. They are tied for 22nd in the league in quarterback pressures after being tied for 10th last season. They are also blitzing on only 22.1 percent of pass plays, which is below the league average of 25 percent. It also means that defensive end Melvin Ingram has seen more double teams and been held to 1.5 sacks."We need more pressure. We're going to be one-on-one on the backside since they are sliding protection toward Mel and we have to win. Somebody has to win," coach Anthony Lynn said.San Francisco, which will have C.J. Beathard starting at quarterback following a season-ending knee injury to Jimmy Garoppolo, has allowed 14 sacks, which is tied for fourth-most in the league.Niners coach Kyle Shanahan said the Chargers' scheme reminds him a lot of San Francisco's."I'm sure there'll be some new things that they're going to game plan against us that you've got to be prepared for Los Angeles Chargers Womens Hoodie ," Shanahan said. "Obviously, having gone against a defense like that helps, but you can never count on it, what they're doing. There's always something different." Custom Atlanta Falcons Jerseys

For a game supposedly all about the quarterbacks www.patriotscheapshops.com , many other players are stealing the spotlight at the moment. The Patriots just took a 17-10 lead before the half, with wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson rushing for a touchdown in an injury depleted backfield.Patterson has five carries for 51 yards so far, as the Patriots adjust to the absence of Sony Michel. But that was just the beginning of the fireworks.Packers safety Jermaine Whitehead was ejected, after he slapped Patriots center David Andrews across the facemask. After blocking him on the play, Andrews grabbed a handful of Whitehead’s jersey and the two were jawing at each other. Whitehead reacted with a swat, not a punch by any stretch of the imagination, and relatively flimsy. That may have been why officials didn’t audibly announce that he was thrown out, but he was escorted away to the locker room. The Packers offense caught a bit of spark just before halftime, with Rodgers leading a 13-play, 79-yard drive. It nearly stalled at the goal line before Rodgers made an incredible individual play, rolling out to the left, buying time and finding Davante Adams in the front of the end zone.It was the kind of Rodgers play we’re expecting more of, as he plays chess with Tom Brady tonight. The 2018 season is a tale of two New England Patriots teams — one that went 9-0 at Gillette Stadium and outscored its opponents by an average margin of 15.9 points, and one that lost three of its five away games and has a -2.4 average point differential when playing outside of Massachusetts. With the AFC Championship Game coming up on Sunday, now would be a good time for the Patriots to turn their road fortunes around.Historically, the dynasty-era Patriots have been relatively successful when traveling. Since 2001, the team has won 68% of its regular season and postseason road games — going 102-48 in the process — and finished with losing records away from Foxboro just two times. In 2009 New England Patriots T-Shirt , New England went 2-6; this year, the team sits at a 3-5 record heading into its biggest challenge of the season: an explosive Kansas City Chiefs team. The Chiefs are not the first playoff team to host the Patriots this season, though. New England also played the Chicago Bears, the NFC’s eventual number three seed, and came away with a 38-31 victory. And while the team also beat the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, most of the times it had to fly back to Providence with the foul taste of defeat in its mouth: the Patriots dropped road games in Jacksonville, Detroit, Tennessee, Miami and Pittsburgh.“All of these games are all a little bit different,” Tom Brady said after December’s loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He himself is slightly better at home than on the road: Brady is completing a higher percentage of passes (69.8 to 63.1) and throwing for more yards per game (284.0 to 267.8) at Gillette Stadium. However, his touchdown-to-interception splits (18:8 at home, 12:3 on the road) are actually better on the road. But despite his numbers not differing too much, Brady knows that the Patriots as a team did not live up to their standards on the road this season. “We obviously haven’t played very well on the road,” Brady after New England’s 17-10 loss against Pittsburgh. “What we are doing isn’t good enough. It’s just a cumulative thing. We’re out here as a team trying to compete — when you’re on the road, you have to play well.”“Some things are a little bit more challenging on the road, we have to embrace those things, and we just haven’t done a great job on that New England Patriots Hats ,” the 41-year old continued. One month removed from their fifth road loss, the Patriots are singing a slightly different tune: they are not looking back at what went wrong but instead are focused on the challenge ahead and performing well no matter the environment.“We play half our games on the road, half at home,” head coach Bill Belichick said earlier this week when asked about his team having to travel to the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium, one of the toughest road venues in the entire NFL. “We’ve been in those situations, both ways, plenty of times as have all of our opponents. It is what it is. We’ll deal with the conditions as they come up just like we always do.”Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has a similar opinion when it comes to traveling and the upcoming game in Kansas City. “It doesn’t matter where we play, whether we play here or somewhere else in that regard,” he told reporters on Monday. “Playing well is more important than the venue, so if we can go out there and execute what we’re doing and get out in front, then that’s always a positive regardless of the site of the game.”“Look, we’ve played on the road half our games and there’s noise in all the other stadiums. There’s going to be noise in this one,” McDaniels continued. “We know that, we’ve experienced it before. But we know how to handle that, and again, it comes down to how well we play this week. It doesn’t matter any other week that we’ve played, the last game we played them or there or some other place on the road. What matters is how our team this week can prepare and then go out and perform and execute on Sunday night.”For Brady New England Patriots Hoodie , the keys to playing well to doing that are simple ones. “It’s just making critical plays and it’s great complementary football,” he said leading up to the Patriots’ week 15 game in Pittsburgh. “Being on the road, the momentum can change very quickly. One play changes the whole game. We’ve seen that a lot playing at home, when you use the crowd to your advantage and everyone’s kind of into it and waiting for something to happen.”“As soon as something good happens for us, it just snowballs quickly,” Brady continued. “You’ve got to keep it from happening on the road. You’ve got to play well offensively. You’ve got to do a good job of possessing the ball, third down and so forth. Defensively, big plays and those really get the crowd into it and the kicking game, just playing solid. There’s no secret: it’s just playing a great complementary game.”New England is coming off a very good contest in this area, dominating a strong Los Angeles Chargers team 41-28 in the divisional round. And as Brady said, therein lies the secret to success both at home and on the road. “Just execute for four quarters, start fast, just play Patriot football,” said running back James White about the upcoming game. “We’ve just got to put our best foot forward and play Patriot football. That’s all we have to do.”

UPDATE: Thought I’d bump this up to the top since we’re now just one day out from Championship Weekend. The poll will be open until the kickoff of the NFC Championship Game tomorrow. The National Football League is down to its final four teams now that the Divisional Playoffs are in the books. We want to know who you think is going to be facing off in Atlanta on 3 February in Super Bowl LIII.Championship Weekend will kick off at the Superdome Cheap Customized Minnesota Vikings Jerseys , where the New Orleans Saints will play host to the Los Angeles Rams. These two teams met earlier on in the season at the Superdome, with the Saints emerging with a 45-35 victory. The Rams advanced by taking down the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night by a final score of 30-22, while the Saints moved on by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday by a score of 20-14.That game will be aired on your local FOX affiliate, with kickoff scheduled for 2:05 PM Central time. That will be followed by the AFC Championship Game, live from Arrowhead Stadium. Much like the NFC, the top two seeds in the AFC will square off as the Kansas City Chiefs will square off against the New England Patriots. This is also a rematch of a game that took place earlier in the season, and the Patriots emerged victorious by a score of 43-40 on a last-minute field goal. That game was in Foxboro, however. . .things might be a little different in Kansas City. The Chiefs advanced to the title game by thrashing the Indianapolis Colts to the tune of 31-13 on Saturday afternoon. The Patriots advanced to their eighth consecutive AFC Championship Game by beating up on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon, 41-28.That game will be aired on your local CBS station, with kickoff scheduled for 5:40 PM Central time.As of right now, both home teams are three-point favorites, which means that Vegas sees both matchups as relatively even, as home-field advantage is usually worth about three points. For entertainment purposes only, obviously. So Youth Anthony Barr Jersey , we have four potential Super Bowl matchups, folks. Who do you think will be meeting in the final game of the 2018-19 NFL season? We’ll keep the poll open until the NFCCG kicks off next Sunday afternoon. After watching the New England Patriots systematically disassemble the Minnesota Vikings in the cold and calculated way they usually dispatch of opponents at home, I was left with one burning question:Are the Vikings the NFL’s worst good team or the NFL’s best bad team?Think about it. They’re 6-5-1, yet they haven’t beaten a team with a winning record all season. They have taken care of business against the teams they’re “supposed to” beat (excluding the still-baffling Bills game, of course) but they don’t have a single “signature” win this season. Matthew Coller provided a breakdown of the win-loss records of Vikings opponents this season:Losing at New England is nothing to hang your head about—after all, just about everyone loses when they visit Gillette Stadium. Bill Belichick remains the master at making teams “play left-handed.” They take away what you do best and make you beat them another way. A perfect example of this: nobody on the defensive line outside of Danielle Hunter was credited with a pressure on Sunday. Tom Brady and the New England offense counteracted Minnesota’s pass rush by running the ball effectively on first down and using quick-hit passes to avoid pressure. Brady attempted only one pass of over 20 yards the entire day but was still extremely effective. His NextGen passing chart is basically a giant cluster of green dots all over the line of scrimmage. But despite losing their top two cornerbacks for a large portion of the game, the Vikings defense still kept the team hanging around for the majority of the contest. The offensive side of the ball continues to stick in the craw of Vikings fans after losses this season. The usual culprits have been turnovers, the offensive line giving up a ton of pressure, and the run game being completely ineffective. The first one proved true again; the Vikings lost the turnover battle and are now 1-4-1 in such games this season. However, the other two pain points didn’t really show up on Sunday.According to Pro Football Focus, the Vikings gave up only ten total pressures against the Patriots, which was their fourth fewest of the year. Kirk Cousins had a clean pocket in 33 of his 46 dropbacks. On those plays where he had decent time to throw, Cousins was 24 of 33 for 152 yards, one touchdown http://www.authenticsminnesotavikings.com/cheap-mike-remmers-jersey , and two interceptions. Not great. The run game was working when the Vikings actually decided to use it. They averaged 7.3 yards per carry on Sunday; unfortunately they only ran the ball 13 times while Cousins chucked 44 passes. The Vikings were trailing for most of the contest, but it wasn’t like they were getting blown out either. The lack of balance and ineffective play calling have Mike Zimmer openly questioning John DeFilippo once again. Many fans are already calling for the Offensive Coordinator’s job just twelve games into his tenure. While I personally think that may be a bit premature, I certainly understand the frustration with the under-performing offense. Something needs to change, and fast—another loss at Seattle next Monday would officially put the Vikings’ season on the brink. Before we move ahead and start looking at the Seahawks, let’s take our weekly look back at the five most important plays from Sunday’s game.Play 1: Patriots ball, 1st & 10 at the New England 45. First quarter, 11:57 remaining. T.Brady pass short left to C.Patterson pushed ob at MIN 31 for 24 yards (A.Harris).We all knew this was bound to happen. The Vikings could never really figure out how to use Cordarrelle Patterson outside of kick returns and a few gadget plays. Naturally, he’s thriving with the Patriots in a variety of ways. This easy catch and run from Flash put the Pats in Vikings territory on their first drive, and they scored four plays later. It set the tone that Belichick is still the best at coaching to his players’ strengths. It also set the precedent that Minnesota would be chasing New England both literally and figuratively throughout the afternoon.Minnesota had a chance to answer on their ensuing drive, but it was a chance they couldn’t capitalize on.Play 2: Vikings ball, 2nd & 9 at the New England 22. First quarter, 6:20 remaining. (Shotgun) K.Cousins sacked at NE 30 for -8 yards (A.Butler).After going three-and-out on their first drive, the Vikings had already gained 53 yards on five plays, 42 of which came on three runs by Dalvin Cook http://www.authenticsminnesotavikings.com/cheap-sheldon-richardson-jersey , to get themselves just outside of the red zone. Cue the drive-killing sack!Cousins had Adam Thielen open underneath in the middle. He also had Latavius Murray open in the flat. He also had plenty of time to just throw the ball away if he didn’t like either option. Instead, he took the sack from Adam Butler, which led to a third & 17, which led to a missed 48-yard field goal by Dan Bailey. (Fun side note: Bailey has already dropped from second all-time to sixth in career field goal percentage since joining the Vikings earlier this season.) Instead of answering New England’s score with one of their own, they came away empty-handed. The Vikings didn’t score until the final minute of the half, but they still trailed by only three points heading into the locker rooms.Minnesota’s defense held firm for most of the third quarter, thanks in part to Stephen Gostowski missing a field goal of his own. It appeared that the Vikings might be able to take their first lead on a drive just before the fourth quarter.Play 3a: Vikings ball, 1st & 10 at the New England 40. Third quarter, 3:51 remaining.(Shotgun) D.Cook right guard ran ob at NE 22 for 18 yards.See, the run game really was effective on Sunday!Once again, the Vikings had 1st & 10 just outside of the red zone thanks to a Cook run. They ended up scoring on this drive, but maybe not the score they deserved.Play 3b: Vikings ball, 3rd & 9 at the New England 21. Third quarter, 2:28 remaining. (Shotgun) K.Cousins pass incomplete deep right to A.Robinson.On second down http://www.authenticsminnesotavikings.com/cheap-andrew-sendejo-jersey , Cousins tried to hit Thielen in the end zone, but J.C. Jackson prevented Thielen from getting close. Thielen complained to the referee about pass interference, but it looked like Jackson was in good position. On third down, Jackson made another play; this one was a bit more questionable. You could argue that the ball was uncatchable, but it certainly appeared as though Jackson grabbed the arm of Aldrick Robinson before the ball arrived. No penalty was called and the Vikings had to settle for tying the game on a Bailey field goal instead of possibly taking the lead. The tie didn’t last long.Play 4: Patriots ball, 1st & 10 at the Minnesota 24. Third quarter, 0:42 remaining. (Shotgun) T.Brady pass short middle to J.Gordon for 24 yards, TOUCHDOWN. NE 12-Brady 508th career TD pass, ties Favre for 3rd-most all-time. NE 12-Brady 579th career TD pass (including postseason), ties P. Manning for most all-time.You only get so many chances to take down the GOAT at home. The Vikings didn’t take theirs, and Brady made them pay posthaste. In four ruthlessly efficient plays, the Patriots sliced through the Vikings defense to reclaim the lead for good. This touchdown pass to Josh Gordon tied Brady with Peyton Manning for most touchdown passes all-time. The Vikings went backwards on their next drive, Julian Edelman returned the ensuing punt to midfield, and before we knew it the Patriots were up 24-10. I’d be more impressed if it didn’t happen against my favorite team. The Vikings tried to make it a game again on their next drive White Danielle Hunter Jersey , but one play that perfectly summarized all the offensive woes stopped any chance of a comeback.Play 5: Vikings ball, 4th & 11 at the New England 48. Fourth quarter, 6:15 remaining. (Shotgun) K.Cousins pass short middle to L.Treadwell to NE 44 for 4 yards (S.Gilmore).It’s fourth down, and any inkling of a comeback is on the line. If you don’t convert this, you’re going to lose. So what do you do?Well, that isn’t exactly what we had in mind. Going to Laquon Treadwell acres short of the sticks on fourth down against Stephon Gilmore is unacceptable on just about every level. Throwing it up for grabs like a game of “500” would have been a better option here. It’s an inexcusable play call (and probably personnel decision) by the coaching staff and an inexcusable pass by Cousins. When that’s your play on a must-have down, you deserve to lose. It was a microcosm of everything that has gone wrong for the offense this season.Due to how the rest of the NFC playoff hopefuls have been performing, all is not lost after the New England loss. That story could change if the Vikings drop another game on Monday night in Seattle. Being the best bad team or the worst good team isn’t going to help meet the lofty goals this team had before the season. As always, we welcome you to vote in the poll to tell us which play you thought was the biggest and encourage you to suggest any we may have missed in the comments.

The Denver Broncos reeled off big run after big run against the soft underbelly of the Kansas City Chiefs defense.Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman ran roughshod over the Chiefs. Each scored a touchdown and Freeman eluded seven defenders and dragged a linebacker into the end zone on his 14-yard score."We ran the ball well Womens Sheldon Rankins Jersey ," Broncos quarterback Case Keenum said. "We started off so many series just pounding the rock at second-and-1, first-and-10. Even with some loaded boxes that K.C. brought, our offensive line played really well."We've got to keep running the ball well. If we keep running the ball like we do, we're going to win a lot of games."Nobody could stop Lindsay and Freeman Monday night 鈥?except Broncos offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave, who abandoned his great ground game at key moments in the Broncos' 27-23 loss .That included a three-and-out series in which the Broncos lined up in three-receiver sets three times in between the Chiefs' final two drives, both of which ended in touchdowns as Patrick Mahomes rallied the Chiefs (4-0) back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit.Lindsay ran for 69 yards on a dozen carries for a 5.8-yard average and Freeman ran for 67 yards on just eight hand-offs, a whopping 8.4-yard average.Lindsay's long run was 19 yards and both Freeman and speedy wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders reeled off 18-yard runs."They ran downhill, but you score points by throwing the football," Broncos coach Vance Joseph said. "We ran the ball to control the game, but you throw the ball to score."Clinging to a 23-20 lead, the Broncos didn't burn enough clock to keep Mahomes on the sideline and give Denver's exhausted defense enough of a breather. After a run for no gain, a catch for no gain and a sack, Marquette King shanked a 35-yard punt that gave the Chiefs the ball at midfield for their game-winning drive. The Chiefs ran well themselves, with Kareem Hunt leading the way with 121 yards on 19 carries."It was a big game," Hunt said. "We've been up big on everyone we've played so far. It's good to see where we're at mentally and be able to fight back and come back in the fourth quarter down 10 points. That shows a team that's not going to give up."Other takeaways from the Chiefs' sixth straight victory over the Broncos:MAGIC MAHOMESPatrick Mahomes threw for 304 yards and a touchdown, a 2-yarder to tight end Travis Kelce that sparked the fourth-quarter comeback. That gave him 14 TDs and zero interceptions through the first month of the season. But the play everyone was talking was his 6-yard strike to Tyreek Hill with his left hand while getting pulled down by Von Miller ."I didn't think about it at all Womens Mark Ingram Jersey ," Mahomes said. "I was just kind of scrambling left, I felt Von on my back and I knew I couldn't throw it with my right hand. I knew we needed the first down, so I kind of shot-putted it to Tyreek. ... You just have to get the ball in their hand somehow.""It caught me off-guard," Hill said. "I've never seen a quarterback who is right-handed throw the ball left-handed."Said Hunt: "I thought, is this dude a magician or something? He is doing things that you don't see often."Or ever, suggested Chiefs safety Eric Murray."That one is new," Murray said. "I'm glad we all got to see it."Miller didn't see it.He was wrapped around Mahomes' ankles trying to bring down the second-year star."I didn't know he threw it with his left hand," Miller conceded.Neither did linebacker Shane Ray."I didn't see the hand switch," Ray said. "I heard about it."Along with everyone else.KEENUM CONUNDRUMThrough one month, Case Keenum isn't the same quarterback who led the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC championship in January after injuries to Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater. So far, Keenum has just three touchdown passes to go with six interceptions with the Broncos after throwing for 22 TDs and just seven interceptions."We believe in Case and he's shown he can win games late for us," Joseph said.Keenum nearly pulled off his third fourth-quarter comeback for the Broncos but he overthrew a wide-open Demaryius Thomas streaking down the Chiefs sideline with 16 seconds left from the K.C. 28."It was close," Keenum said. "I want to watch it on film. But it felt really close. There's a few, especially those types of plays that I lose a little sleep over, thinking about it, laying at night in bed. It's a tough one www.neworleanssaintsteamonline.com , it stings."KING'S STINGThe Broncos brought in a practice squad punter to push King last week but he continued his disappointing first season in Denver by averaging just 41 yards on three punts with a paltry net of 28.7.His 35-yard duck gave the Chiefs the ball at their 40 with 4 1/2 minutes left."He's got to perform better," Joseph said. "We're at home and it's his job to flip the field. It ain't happening." We sure have been waiting for this Thursday night showcase. Top overall draft pick Baker Mayfield vs. No. 3 selection Sam Darnold, a mano a mano between the rookie quarterbacks.Oh, wait. Mayfield is a bench jockey in Cleveland right now, while Darnold is winging touchdowns and interceptions for the Jets.Enthusiasm peaked after Darnold destroyed Detroit in New York's opener, then came to a near halt when he struggled against Miami. The Browns have a developing defense led by the NFL's No. 1 draft choice in 2017, Myles Garrett. If Darnold can stay upright and cool, New York could win.But that's hardly the history for the Jets. You know, just when things are looking up ...The Jets, ranked 21st in the AP Pro32, are 3-point underdogs to No. 26 Cleveland. That's the value of a field goal, or three extra points. Maybe in the Browns' case, we shouldn't go there considering what happened in New Orleans with all the flubbed kicks.Of course, they have a new kicker — and will get their first win of the century. Well, not quite that long.BROWNS, 17-16KNOCKOUT POOLYes New Orleans Saints T-Shirt , we survived with the Rams after the Saints let us down in Week 1. The New England Patriots were short-handed without Rob Gronkowski or Sony Michel Cheap Customized New England Patriots Jerseys , but there are simply too many playmakers on the offense. Tom Brady and company took their time, but eventually broke out in the fourth quarter to defeat the Green Bay Packers 31-17.Tom Brady had a fine dayBrady did enough on Sunday night for the Patriots to win. I wouldn’t say it was a great outing and I would argue that calling it “very good” might also be a stretch. Brady completed 22 of 35 passes (62.9%) for 294 yards and 1 touchdown and a 99.0 passer rating. My expectations are high and he benefit from a lot of yards after the catch.Brady continues to miss some passes and have miscommunications with his receivers. He’s reacting more to pressure and he really struggled in the red zone, completing 2 of 9 for 9 yards, adding 1 rush for 2 yards and a first down. Part of the issue was the absence of Rob Gronkowski (and Gronk’s limitations all year), but Brady’s red zone production is a major red flag that has to be fixed over the second half of the season.Cordarrelle Patterson needs to stay on the fieldPatterson finished the day with 61 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and added a 7-yard reception. When the Patriots signed Patterson, Bill Belichick told the receiver, “We’ll make you the player you should be.”I think we know what that player should be.Patterson ran hard and slashed his way down the field and his versatility is hard to defend. If you’re a defensive coordinator and Patterson’s in the backfield http://www.newenglandpatriotsteamonline.com/patrick-chung-jersey , you have to keep an extra defensive back on the field because you don’t want to have a linebacker responsible for covering Patterson in the open field. But the defensive back will likely be a weaker run defender, giving Patterson a clear advantage in the box.Even when Michel returns, Patterson should stick around on the field for New England and I would love to see some 2-running back sets with Patterson and either Michel or James White in the red zone to stress the edges of the opposing defense. The Patriots need to get Patterson 5-10 touches a game.James White is the heart of the offenseMove over Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, White is the most important non-Brady player in the Patriots offense. White had 12 carries for 31 yards and 2 touchdowns and added 6 receptions for 72 yards. This was White’s third multi-touchdown game of the season and he’s racked up 765 yards and 10 touchdowns this year, both career highs.Brady continues to look to White when all else fails in the offense and the running back’s reliability gives him the edge as the most important skill player in the Patriots offense.Josh Gordon is hereGordon finished the day with 5 catches for 130 yards and an impressive 55-yard touchdown. This was Gordon’s second 100+ yard game, both in the past three weeks, and he’s really emerged as Brady’s most productive receiver. He now has 396 yards and 2 touchdowns in 6 games with the Patriots. He’s on pace for 875 yards and 5 touchdowns this year Authentic Trent Brown Jersey , which would be the second-best of his career, behind only his 2013 All Pro season. He’s going to keep getting better. Gordon is here.Brian Flores coached a heckuva gameWe can talk about how the Packers gained 368 yards on the day, and that Marquez Valdes-Scantling had 3 back-breaking catches for 101 yards, and that the Packers averaged 4.7 yards per carry, but I think Brian Flores coached the Patriots defense to one of their best performances of the year. The Patriots defense reminded me of their performance against the 2013 Denver Broncos, where they allowed the opposition to gash them on the ground to take the ball away from Peyton Manning and the potent receivers.Packers running backs Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams gained 110 yards on 21 carries (5.24 YPC), but outside of Scantling’s 3 incredible catches http://www.newenglandpatriotsteamonline.com/ryan-allen-jersey , Aaron Rodgers threw for just 158 yards. Rodgers completed a mere 55.8% of his passes. That means that the Patriots did a great job limiting the best player from the Packers offense and it was clear that Rodgers never felt comfortable all day.Adrian Clayborn had his best day at the officeClayborn finished the day with half a sack and a forced fumble, but he was much more active. He chipped in a pair of quarterback hits and had another forced fumble called back due to a penalty. While Clayborn’s struggled at times with gap integrity on the edge and allowing quarterbacks and running backs to turn the corner, that wasn’t an issue today and Clayborn kept Rodgers inside the pocket.Clayborn played at the level the Patriots need him to play at in order to complement Trey Flowers and force opposing teams to respect multiple players on the Patriots defensive line.Stephon Gilmore is an All Pro cornerbackGilmore had a pass defended and a fumble recovery, but more importantly he did an outstanding job of removing Packers top receiver Davante Adams from the game. Adams had 6 catches for 40 yards and a touchdown with the majority of those catches coming on crossers against zone defenses. The Packers moved Adams to the inside of formations to try and get him away from Gilmore- and Gilmore managed to get under Adams’ skin late in the game.Gilmore’s been the Patriots best defensive back all season and he’s passed this test with flying colors. He’s playing the cornerback position as well as any cornerback we’ve seen under Bill Belichick- and an All Pro caliber cornerback is an ingredient on every Patriots Super Bowl team.Patriots have one more test before their bye weekNew England is limping with so many injuries and they have one more test before they have a pretty favorable home stretch. The Patriots are on the road next week with a 1:00 PM game against the Tennessee Titans, losers of three straight and playing on Monday Night Football this week- so the Titans will face the Patriots while coming off a short week. The Titans are 3-4, but they’re a couple bounces away from being 0-7...and they’re also a couple bounces away from being 5-2. If the Patriots can get past the Titans, they’ll get the bye week and hopefully everyone will be able to rest and get healthier for the final six games. The Patriots have four games against their AFC East rivals Authentic Jonathan Jones Jersey , including a pair against the New York Jets; they host the Minnesota Vikings in week 13; and they’re on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 15.It wouldn’t be shocking if the Patriots win out, although a loss or two wouldn’t be surprising. If everyone can get healthy over the bye week, then the Patriots will be in great position to challenge for homefield advantage in the AFC. MIAMI (AP) — The Miami Dolphins are turning to their AFC East nemesis for help.New England Patriots linebackers coach Brian Flores is a finalist in the Dolphins’ coaching search, a person familiar with the decision said Friday, and they’re expected to offer him the job when his team’s postseason ends. The person confirmed the decision to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Dolphins weren’t commenting publicly about the status of the search. If they fail to reach a deal with Flores, they haven’t ruled out Dallas Cowboys secondary coach Kris Richard.Flores has been a Patriots assistant for 11 seasons and took over defensive play-calling a year ago after the departure of defensive coordinator Matt Patricia. In Miami he would replace Adam Gase, who was fired after three seasons and hired Wednesday as coach of the New York Jets.New England plays the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC playoffs Sunday. The Dolphins have been also-rans to the first-place Patriots in the AFC East 15 of the past 16 years.Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and general manager Chris Grier zeroed in on Flores after interviewing two Dolphins assistants Friday: special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. Both were considered long shots.Ross and Grier earlier interviewed New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.Miami has finished with six to eight wins in nine of the past 10 years Womens Rex Burkhead Jersey , and hasn’t won a playoff game since 2000. As a result, the 78-year-old Ross said the Dolphins will abandon their win-now approach and build with the long term in mind.A roster revamp is expected to include the departure of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has been with the team since 2012. The next coach, who will report to Grier, will be Miami’s 10th since 2004, including three interim coaches.

Notes From Minnesota Vikings Training Camp: 8/13 Practice Today was the first training camp day back after the first pre-season game against the Denver Broncos. While the 42-28 win was exciting Youth Harrison Smith Jersey , it was back to work as usual for the Vikings. Here are a few notes from today’s practice. Grid View Stefon Diggs and Everson Griffen did not participate in practice today. Diggs helped with the wide receiver drills but did eventually leave. Griffen was not out on the field at all today but hopefully he will be back and dressed for tomorrow. While Linval Joseph and Anthony Barr were not active for Saturday’s game, they did practice in full today. Mike Remmers did return today but was only doing individual drills. The Vikings are playing things cautious with him, as he is returning from an ankle injury. Stacy Coley was injured and did not return to practice after making an impressive jump for the ball on a catch. Unfortunately, he stayed on the ground and needed a cart to help him out. As of now Youth Anthony Barr Jersey , there is no word on his condition. But the biggest injury news, that luckily turned out to be a false alarm, was Rashod Hill. When he rolled his ankle, initially it didn’t look good. A cart was brought out and he was taken in to be looked at. But Youth Kirk Cousins Jersey , less than five minutes later, he walked back out to the field on his own. He did finish the drills and told reporters after that his ankle was “feeling fine.”Kaleb Johnson took the field today wearing number 66 and took reps with the second and third teams. Johnson is replacing Nick Easton, who is now on injured reserve.Kirk Cousins continues to look good coming off the first preseason game. He had a great pass to Latavius Murray and Murray was able to find a sizable hole and go for a big gain. Cousins had a few deep throws that looked sharp as well. One was to Adam Thielen while Cousins was under some pretty good pressure, and Thielen was able to catch it and stay in bounds. He also threw one to Dalvin Cook http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic.com/sheldon-richardson-jersey-authentic , who was able to catch the ball but was eventually stopped. Speaking of Cook, he looked great today and was able to burst through the defense line on a few plays. Jared Goff produced perhaps the most prolific passing day in the history of the Los Angeles Rams and John Franklin-Myers strip-sacked Kirk Cousins to carry the Rams to a 38-31 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.Goff passed for 465 yards with five touchdowns on 26 of 33 passing and a perfect passer rating of 158.3 as the Rams sliced their way through the Vikings defense. Goff tossed a pair of touchdowns to Cooper Kupp, and one each to Todd Gurley, Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks to move to 4-0 for the first time since 2001.Goff is the ninth player in Rams franchise history to toss five touchdowns in a game. Only one other of those efforts – Norm Van Brocklin against Detroit in 1950 – came with zero interceptions being thrown. And while Van Brocklin passed for 293 yards that day Womens Brett Jones Jersey , Goff eclipsed the 450-yard mark against the Vikings.Cousins did his best to keep up with the Rams offense. He completed 36 of 50 passes for 422 yards and three touchdowns before the lost fumble on Minnesota’s final possession ended their chances.A 16-yard touchdown pass to Aldrick Robinson gave Minnesota the early 7-0 lead, but the Rams would respond immediately with an 8-yard touchdown from Goff to Gurley. Dan Bailey‘s 37-yard field goal gave the Vikings a 10-7 lead before Kupp raced for a 70-yard touchdown to give the Rams a 14-10 advantage.Cousins and Robinson would connect again for a 17-yard touchdown to put the Vikings back in front before another Goff to Kupp touchdown gave the Rams the lead for good. A 47-yard pass to Cooks extended the L.A. lead to 28-17, but Bailey would connect on his second field goal of the night to make it a 28-20 game at half. After a 34-yard Sam Ficken field goal, Cousins would hit Adam Thielen for a 45-yard score to close within three at 31-28. The Rams would respond once again with a 31-yard touchdown from Goff to Woods to take a 38-28 lead. Ficken missed a 28-yard field goal and Bailey connected on a 40-yard try to make it a one score game with 3:46 left to play. But after stopping the Rams inches shy of a first down http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic.com/mike-remmers-jersey-authentic , Franklin-Myers came up with the icing on the cake to seal the win for the Rams. The 556 yards of offense allowed by the Vikings was the fifth most allowed in franchise history and most allowed since the Atlanta Falcons gained 558 yards in a 41-28 win over Minnesota in 2014.
